KFSN-TV/DT abc30.com More Progress in Identifying Frozen AirmanNovember 4, 2005 - It's not the news one family was hoping for, but scientists are closer to identifying a frozen body found in the local mountains. The family of Ernest Glen Munn says they have been told that based on the name found on a name tag, the body is not that of their family member. The body was found high in the Sierras last month. Right now, it's at a lab in Hawaii and scientists say the body is that of an airman from an Army plane that crashed in 1942. A DNA sample has been sent to a lab in Maryland for further tests.
